Il W2549 è stato progettato impiegando il famoso Neglex OFC così da fornire la più alta qualità audio nelle sessioni di registrazione. Adotta i conduttori #22AWG a bassissima reattanza capacitiva. La schermatura è al 100% e la realizzazione del cavo è eccellente da prevenire disturbi causati da interferenze elettromagnetiche.
Questo cavo è particolarmente consigliato laddove sia richiesta una particolare estensione sulle alte frequenze o si richieda un cavo di elevata lunghezza.
