Individually twisted and shielded cables, available from 2 to 32 channels. XLPE (Cross Linked Polyethylene) insulation offers excellent electrical characteristics and will not melt or shrink during welding. Rugged, flexible construction that is easy to handle, even in temperatures as low as -20°C (-4°F). Easy Cable Identification System: Channel numbers are printed and underlined on each core jacket to ensure correct identification no matter which end is stripped. The outer sheaths of each pair are color coded from the standard resistor color code, allowing for quick identification of lead pairs. The inner conductors are also color coded according to the international standard resistor color code. Each pair is color coded by jacket and handler color scheme. Each channel has a drain wire and a bare copper serviced (spiral) shield. The drain wire simplifies termination and can be crimped with contacts of the same size as the inner conductor pair. CL2 classified version available. The conductor size of the CL2 rated version is thicker than #25AWG, so it is also recommended for rugged applications and stable and simple crimp terminal connector wiring, as well as NEC fire code requirements.
