Aeron’s oscillation mechanism (Tilt) follows the body’s movements in a linear and balanced way, allowing the muscles to move and support the spine. The Tilt is available in three different configurations:
Standard Tilt: This version features a tilt adjustment knob that allows you to adjust the effort needed to recline the backrest comfortably. It does not have an oscillation limiting mechanism.
Tilt Lock: Tilt Lock allows you to limit the range of positions between fully upright and reclined. The tension control adjusts the effort needed to recline the backrest comfortably. The possible reclinations are: upright, medium and reclined.
Tilt Locking and Seat Angle Adjustment: The tilt locking allows you to set the backrest to three postures: upright, medium and reclined. The tension control adjusts the effort needed to recline the backrest comfortably. The Seat Angle adjustment changes the seat angle from neutral (parallel to the floor) to locked (5 degrees forward).
Guide to choosing the backrest
The size, shape and pattern of the supports incorporated into the backrest of Mirra 2 create support areas that allow the user to move freely while sitting, always adopting a correct posture. Both options allow Mirra 2 to adapt to different types of users and applications.
Triflex II: The Triflex II backrest is made of a resistant polymer material, with a carefully designed perforation to allow the backrest to flex with you, and guarantee maximum breathability and ease of cleaning.
Butterfly: The Butterfly backrest combines a layer of fabric with the perforated structure in polymeric material. The Butterly backrest adapts to the shape of your body like a membrane, supports you as you move, and guarantees maximum thermal comfort and breathability of the body.
Lumbar support guide for Mirra
The best configuration for an active body is in an upright position, with the chest extended and the pelvis tilted slightly forward. Therefore, it should be possible even when seated. For this reason Mirra 2 is available with devices for sacral and lumbar support.
Fixed PostureFit: The fixed lumbar support, with integrated PostureFit, offers support to the lumbar region of the back and correctly supports the sacral region, thus helping the pelvis to maintain its natural forward inclination.
PostureFit and Adjustable Lumbar Support: The fixed lumbar support, with integrated PostureFit, offers support to the lumbar region of the back and correctly supports the sacral region, thus helping the pelvis to maintain its natural forward inclination. The lumbar support can be adjusted vertically by 11.40 and 2.5 cm in depth, to adapt to the natural curve of the spine and best support the lumbar region.
